Personality:  Atanax has changed over the past year with the Senshi.  Instead of the wild, loud, vicious fighter he was he is now quiet and reserved and even occasionally thinks before charging into battle.  While he has become quiet he still maintains his indepence from others in fear of their lack of understanding.

Appearance:  A minotaur with brown fur.  One horn is made of metal, and scars from old wounds cover his body.  He constantly wears two gloves with a purple and red stone imbedded in them and when the time for battle comes he wears a suit of golden armor.

Voltage Blast:  A bolt of ball lightning jumps from Atanax the obsidian matrix on his left hand and horribly electrocutes anyone in the way.

Voltage Field:  A shell of electromagnetic power forms around Atanax which can disrupt other energy attacks directed at him.

Laser Blast:  A beam of red laser energy flies from his right hand and burns into his adversaries.

Weapons/Equipment:  Ceremonial armor and a variety of minotaur weapons that he uses in battle.

History

Atanax comes from a race of minotaurs who live on a planet 55 light-years away.  He comes from a violent and brutal culture, one that places high value on strength and glory in combat.

Upon coming to Earth, Atanax immeadiately found he did not fit in at all.  He was far too bloodthirsty for Imperium Knight, and this caused a great deal of friction between the two. He also fell in love with Chibi-Usa and came close to marrying her, but the romance died after a while.

Atanax also encountered a creature from his own planet known as Ithil the Heretic.  Ithil made several attacks on the Senshi, torturing and killing residents of the palace.

It was only a matter of time before his attention turned to the minotaur family, and Ithil murdered Atanax's younger brother and mother.  After a bloody battle, Atanax defeated Ithil, and the surviving members of his family returned to Minos.

Later, the minotaurs attacked Japan and conquered several islands.  Atanax had to choose between the Senshi, and his people.  He chose to side with his friends, defying the minotaurs and even his religion. After a brutal and bloody battle, the minotaurs were defeated and driven back.

Atanax's contact with the minotaurs was far from over.  After the war against Japan, the minotaurs had another war to fight.  The minotaur religion was based on service to the Source, a being who was both their king and their messiah.

It was revealed that the Source was a fraud who used technology to simulate his miracles, and that another boy had been born who was the rightful child of God.

Atanax had to guard this child for several weeks, protecting him against the Source.  In the end, Taahrn and his bodyguards returned to Minos to help fight the relgious war that was being waged between his supporters and the people loyal to the old source.

Now Atanax his quite different from when he first came to Earth.  He is still a violent person, but does not have the temper he used to.  His body is covered with scars from wounds he has taken, some of which would have killed a normal minotaur.  It seems that whenever he is close to death the patron deity of the Taurians, the Manataur, inspires him and helps him keep going.  He sees this as a sign that his duty to his people is far from over.

He is also sad and lonely.  He tries to combat this feeling by training and fighting, dedicating himself to becoming a better warrior.  He has been successful in this endeavor, and is a fearsome to behold in combat.  Atanax has become a walking tank, super-strong and able to shrug off pain. He is also incredibly fast and uses a variety of martial arts moves with stunning effectiveness.

He fits in the humans now, but has found that there is little life on Earth has to offer him.  He does like Earth, but he yearns for a life of combat on his own world.
