The Crystal Guard is the military force of Japan.  They handle the common crime and battle the non-supernatural/superhuman threats that plague Japan on a daily basis.  The Crystal Guard is under the command of the Imperium Knight.
    Below is some brief information on the Crystal Guard and their equipment

Equipment

    Like any military force the Crystal Guard have a standard uniform which is very similar to the uniform worn by Prince Endymion during the Silver Millenium except is a lighter blue and lacks the cape.  For field patrol and combat assignments they where a suit of white body armor that looks as if it was forged of crystal.  They are also issued wrist communicators and double-edged broad swords.  In situations where stealth in necessary other armors and uniforms of camouflaged colors are available.
    The Crystal Guard has access to guns and firearms but use it only in the most extreme situations, the people of Japan despising firearms in general.
