Strengths:  Cunning and unturnable willpower.

Weaknesses:  Churches cause him to go into convulsions and extreme goodness makes him sick to his stomach.

Goals:  Turning Lita Kino to the Negaverse and getting her to marry him, killing the Imperium Knight, and bring his mother back to life.

Fears:  Dying at the hands of the Sailor Senshi and failing to bring his mother back to life.

Personality:  Lavos is far from good.  He lives to see the Sailor Senshi crushed, especially Neo-Queen Serenity and the Inner Senshi, for the death of his mother.  He is calm, collected, and a manipulative demon.  He has only one goal at the moment, rebuild the Negaverse and revive his mother.  He is also a man who's feelings are in turnmoil, trying to kill the Senshi and his love for Lita Kino, one of the Senshi.

Appearance:  Lavos stands six feet tall with red eyes that glow and short brown hair trimmed in a military fashion.  He wears the typical Negaverse general, except it is completely black and he wears a long, billowing black cape as well.

Powers Based On:  The Negaverse and fire.

Powers:  Can levitate in the air and teleports by doing a back flip

Hell's Fire Ignite:  Lavos lifts his Backdraft into the air and swings it down releasing a giant fire ball at his adversary.

Hell's Fire Burn:  Lavos aims Hellraiser and lets loose a steady stream of his heat energy at his opponents until he chooses to stop.

Weapons

Backdraft:  This is the shorter of Lavos's two swords and the least dangerous.  It is merely a simple  broad sword that is nearly indestructable and hangs at his side.

Hellraiser:  This is Lavos's most dangerous weapon and is contained in a special sheath on his back.  Once the sword leaves its sheath it bursts into flames making it not only cut, but burn on contact.

History

Lavos was born to Queen Beryl and an unknown man back during the final days of the Silver Millenium.  After Beryl was trapped in the Negaverse she dedicated her life to raising Lavos to destroy the Sailor Senshi.

One thousand years later when she was able to send her minions she had Lavos follow each of her four Generals and learn from their mistakes.  Lavos was to be the next to lead the Negaverse armies against the Senshi, but in a surprising move the Senshi struck first.

Lavos stood by as the Inner Senshi killed his mother and watched as she crumbled to dust under the might of the Imperium Silver Crystal.  He resolved to have vengence when he was ready.

He returned to the Negaverse and unified the surviving forces under his leadership and then decided the best way to defeat the Senshi was to learn more.  To this end he went to Earth and disguised himself as high school student, John Reed.

Lavos arranged to be put in the same class as Lita Kino, Sailor Jupiter, with whom he had fallen in love with.  During this time Lavos strived to get Lita to fall for him, but the presence of Ken always foiled his attempts.

Finally the after the Senshi had all graduated from high school Lavos was ready to make his move against the Senshi.  He sent his four Generals and their Commanders against the Senshi who reunited quickly to deal with this new threat with the aid of the Moon General Predator.

In the end Lavos was revealed to be John Reed thanks to the efforts of his General, the coniving Radich, whose quest for vengence led to Lavos having to unmask himself.

In the end Lavos faced the Imperium Knight while the Senshi concentrated on defeating his army of youma and Lavos was frozen at the bottom of the Arctic Sea, for what was believed forever.

Recently though Lavos has been reawakened to serve Lord Bentaris, and in exchange Lord Bentaris has promised to resurrect Lavos's mother.  With that promise Lavos leads the former forces of the Negaverse against the Senshi and hopes to achieve his ultimate goal of turning Lita to his side, and killing the Imperium Knight.
