Personality:  A very cold, aloof sort of person to those who don't know her very well. Kalika is very strong willed, and is almost automatically suspicious and distrustful of people she doesn't know well. She is very quiet, and prefers listening to other people talking then talking herself. She never offers any type of information unless asked, and has a habit of avoiding questions. To those who know her though, she is very kind, caring person underneath and has a great sense of responsiblity.

Normal Appearance: Kalika is a tall, pale thin girl with dark silverish hair that reaches to her knees. She has dark greyish eyes and is 5'8'' and weighs 125 pounds.  Kalika usually dresses in dark clothing and has sort of a gothic look to her.

Powers Based On:  Black magick (shadows and darkness)

Powers

Dark Mists Descend:  A defense spell, used to confuse enemies or to hide in.  It is also capable of blocking pyschic senses or any technological readings.  She holds up her staff, or holds out hand, and her hand/staff glows with a dark light and black mists will roll in from the side.

Dark Force Envelop:  An attack spell, where spheres of dark light appears and surrounds an opponent and explodes on impact. She holds up her staff, or holds out hand, and her hand/staff glows with a dark light and the spheres will matterize.  How much damage it can do will depend on how strong her opponent is.

Circle of Protection:  A wall of black light in a circle surrounds her or the area/person/thing she wishes to protect. She can cast this either using her staff or just with her hands. How long it takes to cast depends on how big a area she wishes to protect.  The spell can protect a area from the size of a person or as big as a small house.

Death Quake ___ (decimal number such as 4.5, 6.5, 9.5):  Both a deffensive and an offensive spell, used to cause a mini-earthquake underneath her oppenent's feet. She can do various degrees of this; the small level ones used to distract, or a high level one to maim.  It can also be used to attack multiple opponents, though it works better against a single opponent.

Weapons/Equipment

Staff:  A black obsidian staff with a black crystal set on top of it.  She uses it to cast her spell. She does not need the staff to cast the spells, it just enhances the power of the spells and makes them easier to cast.

Sword:  A sword hilt that is curved up on one side. It is made out of the same stuff her amour is made out of. The blade is made up of her

Spell Book:  A book of Dark Magick spells holding all the spells she knows and can learn afterwards.

Storage Brooch:  A brooch where her amor, sword, book, staff is stored.  It is also a storage place for simple spells such as invisiblity.

History

Kalika was abandoned by her parents when she was four years old in the slum part of Tokyo. She survived by herself until she was six, when she was picked up by a woman named Nasha who felt sorry for her and who also spotted her potential in the black magicks. Unknown to Kalika until later on, Nasha was actually a black magick mage from the Dark Kingdom (Negaverse). She was branded a traitor by the denizens of the Dark Kingdom and by Queen Beryl because she tried to help a human against a youma attack when she was sent out to spy on the sailor senshi.

Nasha succeeded in escaping to the human world and lived there for thirteen years until a youma assassin finally tracked her down and killed her. During the time when Nasha lived on earth she saw all the homeless children out in the slum area of Tokyo and opened a home to them where she provide food, clothing, and shelter to them. Kalika was the first one to come and live with her. Later more children joined them and among them was Lalita, Kalika's best friend (Lalita was one year younger then Kalika).  Before Nasha died, she taught Kalika almost all she knew of black magicks.

After Nasha died, Kalika and her friend Lalita took over the running of the orphenage. Kalika is a neutral character in the battle between the senshi and their allies and the evil characters who wish to destroy/take over Crystal Tokyo. She distrusts the evil characters because they killed Nasha. She also  distrusts the senshi because they distrust her (because of her use of black magicks). Kalika will not aid either side in a battle, but will observe. She has a slight leaning towards good, however, because she will not allow an innnocent to be hurt, nor will she allow an unfair fight.
