History

At one time Elizabeth Vermillion was the best friend of Jeremy Satterlee the Imperium Knight., before he regained his memories.  They went to high school together and Jeremy developed a crush, that would later turn to a deep love for his best friend.  Liz though wasn't ready for any form of a realationship and Jeremy contended with being just friends.

Years later, after Jeremy had regained the memories of his past she moved to Crystal Tokyo to become a psychologist.  While in Tokyo she met the commander of the Crystal Guard, who to her surprise was her one time friend, Jeremy Satterlee.  The two friends quickly renewed the bond that had existed with them years before, and then one of Jeremy's greatest dreams came true, Elizabeth admitted she had deep feelings for him, just as he had had for her.

The two soon became a couple and Jeremy even proposed to her after the war against the Dark Moon Clan.  The wedding and their happiness was not to be though.  The day before their wedding the Pantheon attacked and one of Jeremy's former students, now known as Assassin killed her in an attempt to kill her fiance.

That was not the end though.  The Pantheon survivors from that war took Elizabeth's dead body from its grave and through their evil magic resurrected her into the murderous Nightwitch.  After she was completely ready the Pantheon's ruler Loki, sent her back in time to be used by Aires and his Destruction Squad in the elimination of the Sailor Senshi of the past.

In her first mission she retrieved the Imperium Sword and would have decapitated the Imperium Knight had Sailor Mercury not knocked him away with her attack at the last second.  She than proceeded to turn the energies of the Imperium Sword against  the Senshi, therefore revealing her identity to Jeremy.

She continued to attack the Senshi with the help of the Swordsmen, with whom the new Elizabeth had fallen in love with.  Finally the Senshi made on final assault on the Destruction Squad's cloud headquarters and Liz was knocked off of it, unconcious and was believed dead.

The Senshi were wrong though.  Nightwitch barely awoke in time to save herself and spent months recovering from the injuries.  She kept tabs on the Senshi and has been tiding her time until a new enemy arised that she believed could defeat the Senshi and that she could trust to ally herself with.  Finally she got tired of waiting.

Liz sees Bentaris as a threat to distract the Senshi while she kills them all and frees Crystal Tokyo from the royal family's 'tyranical rule.'
