Strengths:  John is an extremely skilled swordsmen, has a keen tactical mind, remains calm under most circumstances, plans carefully, and is well organized.

Weaknesses:  A perfectionist.  John gets upset when something is not perfect and is uptight about perfection and doing things the most professional way.  He despises having too much fun and under circumstances when his planning is useless and he has no clue on what to do he becomes extremely frustrated and is somewhat naive in the aspect of common sense.

Goals:  Overthrow Neo-Queen Serenity and establish a democratic government in Japan, make sure the Royal Family never regains power once removed, become a teacher, and prove once and for all he is better than the Imperium Knight

Fears:  Never being able to overthrow the Royal Family, being alone, and never retiring.

Personality:  John is a calm individual who thinks on his feet and is always looking forward to the big picture.  He is all business and is very uptight towards accomplishing his goals.  He strives to project an image of perfectionism and an emotionless, rational being.  John does lack some common sense and always looks for a complex answer or reason, ignoring the simple, obvious things he could do.  John does care for others but believes the greater good of mankind is worth the death of a few innocent.

Normal Appearance:  John stands six feet, one inch tall and weights 180 lbs.  He has a light brown, Native American complexion with brown eyes and black hair that is tied back in a pony tail that reaches his mid back.  He stands tall, proud with good posture and is always dressed well in an approiate manner considering the situation.

Senshi Appearance:  As Swordsmen John wheres a suit of blue and black armor and a helmet that is solid blue with a gold streak down the center.  The helmet has two red eye holes and black fabric woven together to look like a black pony tail coming from the back.  At John's side is always the solid black Darksaber safely tucked into its black shealth.

Powers Based On:  The Darksaber

Powers:  Swordsmen has the ability to teleport at will where he need be.

Darksaber Strike:  Swordsmen extends his sword and releases a blast of black energy at his adversary.

Saber Storm:  Swordsmen holds his sword diagnolly across his chest and it glows a faint red causing a storm of black lighting, high winds, and flying debris for up to a mile radius.

Create Commandos:  By using the Darksaber, Swordsmen can transform a normal human into a gruesome Commando to do his bidding.  Commandos are youma-like creatures with a tactical, human intelligence, but suspectible to members of the Pantheon.

Weapons/Equipment

The Darksaber:  A broadsword made of solid black material and infused with the life force of an evil demon.  The weapon is nearly indestructable and if necessary can act on its own releasing blasts of negative energy and flying through the air to attack opponents.

History

John Campbell attended high school like the other members of the Destruction Squad elite with Jeremy Satterlee.  After the Great Freeze when Jeremy Satterlee went AWOL he was the one who was sent to retrieve him or eliminate him.  To accoplish this John posed as a student under Jeremy to learn more and then report back.

While observing Jeremy John was persuaded by Loki, leader of the Pantheon that the Royal Family and Crystal Tokyo posed a threat to the U.S. and convinced him the best way to help his country was to help him destroy the city.  John agreed and accepted the gift of the Darksaber and became one of the Pantheon's mightest warriors.

It was John who planned the defection of himself and his allies during the Pantheon's intial assault and it was John who saved Pik from being killed by the Imperium Knight after removing his left eye.  During the battle with his former best friend John managed to get past the reluctant warrior's defenses and deliver a series of horrible gashes to his left side of his face.

As Swordsmen John led many of the Destruction Squad's attacks on Crystal Tokyo and was responsible for the deaths of hundreds.  Finally when the Destruction Squad left for the past he was made second in command of the mission.

During the battles against the Senshi Axella managed to give Swordsmen the Imperium Sword and John used his knowledge of it and the Darksaber to nearly destroy the Senshi.  Then in a one-on-one duel he was knocked uncoscious by the Imperium Knight and awoke barely in time to save himself from the exploding Destruction Squad base.

John spent the next year or so in hiding preparing to take care of the Imperium Knight.  He knew though that he would have to lure the Knight away from the Senshi.  To do so he threatened the Elizabeth Verhey of the past by kidnapping her, causing Jeremy to head to the United States and battle his former student.

During the battle Jeremy's own past self was killed and John was buried in a cave-in.  Now after awakening from a special healing trance that he was placed in by the Darksaber the Swordsmen is ready to strike the Imperium Knight once again and cause Crystal Tokyo to fall.
