Zoisite

Name:  Zoisite

Alias:  Zachery Sanjouin

Birthdate:  October 31

Astrological Sign:  Scorpio

Age:  Over two Millenia old although only appears to be in his late teens

Hobbies:  Trying to find a way around anything that bears any resemblance to work, plotting about the others in his way to power, and spying.

Favorite Food:  Kung Pao chicken

Least Favorite Food:  Anything that remotely resembles a vegetable

Favorite Gemstone:  Emerald

Favorite Subject:  Chemistry

Least Favorite Subject:  Gym

Favorite Animal:  Any feline

Strengths:  Zoisite is quick to say the least.  With an agility that can give Tuxedo Kamen a run for his money, it makes hitting him hard if he can keep his distance from an attacker.  Nine out of ten, if he knows an enemy is coming, he isn't going to be there.  While entirely too pretty for a male, this works in his benifit most times, giving him an angelic and weak appearance that tends to put enemies off guard and unprepared for his vicious attacks.

Weaknesses:  Quick to anger and defiant to a fault.  As the youngest and weakest of the kings/generals, he constantly feels the need to prove himself of being worthy.  Another fault is his lack of ability to face an enemy in hand to hand combat.  He prefer to resort to magickal means since most can easily overpower him.

Goals:  To always be at the top of the power structure, regardless of the costs.  To be the best.

Fears:  Rats, being a failure, that somehow he'll be condemned to having to be Nephrite's student again.

Personality:  Being around Zoisite is generally like being around old TNT sweating nitro.  He can explode into a fury at what he percieves to be an insult, or he can be as calm and sweet as a kitten.  While he dislikes females, he can force himself to be nice to them, although the empathic ones can see through his act.  His hatred for humans is well known, as is his abrasive attitude towards anyone who tries to be his friend or become close to him.  Using cruelity as a mask to cover his own fears of inadequecy, Zoisite is at heart someone who just wants to be needed or cared for and about... but given the power structure and way of thinking in the Dark Kingdom, that's usually impossible.

Normal Appearance:  Clad usually in a black shirt and jeans, Zoisite tends to project an air of unusualness even when dressed as a mortal would be.  An ankle length leather longcoat usually completes his garb, hair tied back in a ponytail as usual.  A pair of silver wire rim glasses are about the only length he goes through to try to conceal his identity.

Senshi Appearance:  A whisper of cloth was all that was heard as the young man moved into the doorway, lingering there like a forgotten memory. The scent of cherry blossoms wandered ahead of him, the soft perfume seeming to draw attention to him as he disdained it. Slanted emerald green eyes leapt from person to person, a hint of nervousness or perhaps paranoia slipping across his gaze. The delicate features of his face remained emotionless as he moved further into the room, avoiding contact with any other... some unspoken wish to remain apart. Dull grey material formed the jacket and trousers that clung to his slender form, knee high black boots shone with many polishings.  Forest green trim completed the uniform, matching his equally green eyes. A white gloved hand raised to brush a lock of his crimson blonde hair from his face, a ponytail bound with an emerald ribbon winding down to his mid-back.

Powers Based On:  Dark energy

Powers

Sakura Slash:  This is Zoisite's basic flower petal blast towards an opponent. While this may be rather pretty to look at, most tend to forget that the flowers bear a razor sharp edge and can cause damage as they move around the enemy.

Ice Blade & Shards:  Zoisite has the ability to form his own ice blade and a barrage of ice shards, ranging in number from one to five. When releasing more than one, they radiate outwards in a flower pattern...not exactly the most precise weapon, but it gets the job done.

Telekensis/Teleportation:  Zoisite also has the ability to to teleport anywhere on the face of the Earth and beyond along with the ability to levitate through air.

Pyrokinesis:  Zoisite can create pumes of blazing fire from his hand that he launches at his adversaries when he feels the need to.

History

During the Silver Millenium, Zoisite served as one of Prince Endymon's guards, often thought to have been head of espinoge for the Earthen Prince.  This has never been proved or disproved, and the little sakura has no memory of what did happen during this time, save that he feels that he and the other generals/kings were betrayed by Endymon somehow.  This most likely explains the simmering hatred that he carries for Endymion to this day.

His anger at Nephrite stems from the fact that regardless of what was happening, the auburn haired general always thought the Prince was right, prompting many arguements between Zoisite and Nephrite.

Zoisite's ability to sneak about without being detected, allowed him to head up the Moon Kingdom and Earth's counterintelligence departments.  Zoisite was one of the first to know that Beryl-hime was coming, that the Moon and Earth were in danger.  When he tried to warn the Prince and Princess, they dismissed it as false information or just paranoia.

Who would dare attack the great massed powers of the Moon Kingdom and Earth?  When the assult finally came, Zoisite cursed Endymon for condemning them all.  When he returned to the Earth Realm under Beryl-hime, Zoisite carried with him his hatred for the Prince, having made it his life goal to have revenge for the life of darkness that was forced on him due to Endymon's foolishness.

Shocked to say the least at the changes that time had wrought to the Dark Kingdom and to the Earth Relam itself, Zoisite is still adjusting to the change.  Not one to shift well with change, the little sakura still remains amazed by the world today.

Never having interacted much with the Earth Realm, he remains mystified and perhaps frightened by the changes, remaining in the Dark Kingdom as long as possible.  With a new leader there as well, Lavos and Bentaris, he's just trying to learn his place in the scheme of things.

Having no love for Lavos' plan to bring back Beryl-hime, Zoisite remains watchful any appearance of the other Four. Alone, frightened, and trying to once more hold to his place, Zoisite remains as unpredictable as ever.
