Ok the following is a sample of creating a series character.  Not that this is not a full profile but merely contains a number of things, hmmm, let's use Sue as our name changes when applying for the character of Berchue/Birdie of the Ayakashi Sisters.

First thing she does is go and read the other DMC profiles that are up for Prince Diamond, Sapphire, Emerald, Prisma, and the Wiseman

Next Sue has to decide on how she wants to do the whole Japanese vs. DiC name thing.  Since her names won't work out quite the same way as Prisma she decides to just go with the name of Berchue.

Next off she decides that like the majority of the DMC members she decides that Berchue has established an identity for herself in Crystal Tokyo to hide from the Senshi.  To this end she decides Berchue's going to be known as Brittney Walters, a foreign exchange student from the United States who is majoring in Japanese History in college.

Next up she comes up with the various tid-bits such as hobbies, subjects, foods, ect. and watches several episodes featuring Berchue of Sailor Moon.  Using this info she fills out the information.  Next up she comes to personality.

She decides from what she's seen in the anime, being the DiC version like most of us U.S.ers, that Berchue will be shy around guys, somewhat timid, not too aggressive, a natural strategist, and be like her sisters obessessed about her looks, but not to the extent of her sisters.

Next up is appearance.  So Sue types out best she can how exactly Berchue looks so that the information is filled out and detailed.  She fills out both the Senshi and Normal fields.

Next up is powers.  In the anime Berchue's powers revolved around ice so she gives her the villian-patented ability to teleport, the ability to control Droids, and then gives her ice abilities a name: Nemesis Ice Storm.  Sue then types out a description of the power and moves on.

The next section she fills out is the weapons in which she decides since Berchue had no weapons in the anime she'll have none in this RPG.

Now she writes up her history on how Berchue was turned back to her evil ways, got her cover identity and why she finally returned to Crystal Tokyo.

Last, but most importantly Sue sits down to do her writing sample.  She can't think of an idea so she opens another window and goes to the web page and checks out the writing sample ideas.  After thinking about it she adds a bit in the personality about Berchue not being completely evil and decides to go with the: You have been charged with the task of attacking a hospital full of sick and injured children to draw the Senshi into a trap idea.

Finally Sue finishes her profile, runs it through a spell check, puts it neatly into the body of an e-mail message and sends it on her way.  In about a week or two she gets word that she's been accepted and joins in the game.  The finished product is a character from the anime, but with more depth and personality than ever given to the character before she was killed off.  The final profile is displayed below.

Strengths:  Berchue is capable of devising plans of decent stratgey, is an excellent chess player, and is extremely intelligent.

Weaknesses:  Berchue is vain to an extent, and worries about her appearance from time to time, and she also has a soft spot for young children and hates to see them get involved in the DMC's plots.

Goals:  To see the fall of King Endymion and Neo-Queen Serenity and someday find a man to start a family with.

Fears:  Death, growing old and ugly, slimy creatures such as snakes, and seeing innocent children harmed in the DMC's war against the Senshi.

Personality:  Berchue is a mildly shy individual around men that she finds attractive.  Deep down she does want to have a family, but feels that before she can she must help her sisters and the Dead Moon Clan eliminate the Senshi.  She is sly and cunning and prefers to think out a situation if she can.  When things don't go to plan she gets mildly frustrated and enjoys taunting her sisters over their failures.  When it comes to battle itself Berchue despises it and avoids taking part, prefering to let her Droids do her dirty work.

Normal Appearance:  In her human guise as Brittney Walters Berchue stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and has long, pure white hair that is pulled back in a braided pony tail.  Her eyes are a large, innocent blue and she generally wears knee length skirts or light dress pants along with a simple blouse, shirt or tank top.  While she wears a variety of colors, her favorite colors to wear are light pastels and white.

Senshi Appearance:  In battle and on Diamond's spaceship Berchue wears a light blue body suit with a crossing strap design in the back.  Wears blue gloves that look similar to a wrap design, blue boots that come halfway up her thighs, and a blue neck choker.  On her forehead is the DMC's mark of a black inverted moon and she a white braid of hair that lays across her forehead above the inverted moon like a tiara.

Powers Based On:  The Dark Crystal

Nemesis Ice Storm:  Berchue is capable of harnessing the power of the Dark Crystal into blasts of pure ice.  When using this attack water swirls around her and she lets in fly, heading straight for her target, which freezes or is propelled back almost immediatly.  She can also use her abilities to slowly freeze adversaries if she can lead them into a game of chance that lets her weave her magic.  In addition she can also use it to freeze a room, or even if she feels the need to freeze her own body, killing herself.  The weakest point of these abilities though is that it makes her extremely vulnerable to fire based attacks.

Teleport:  Berchue can teleport at will to various locations on Earth, but only distances of one mile or greater, not short distances to avoid attacks or anything.

Summon and Control Droids:  Like all of her sisters Berchue can summon and control Droids for use in her various plots.  Typically though Berchue prefers to rely on droids that involve ice or water based abilities.

History:

Berchue was one of the Ayakashi Sisters, and of the four the most intelligent.  She had a raw genius that she could use to formulate plans and instigate them, yet lacked the imangination to and ability to modify the plan quickly when it fell apart.  As such she generally had difficulty in handling a situation on her own, leading to a number of defeats.

At the command of Prince Diamond Berchue travelled to the late twentieth century with her sisters and the Nemesis royal Rubeus to capture the Princess, Chibi-Usa before she could possibly do something to awaken her mother in the future.  The Dead Moon Clan forces though found themselves instead facing the Sailor Senshi.

Berchue and her sisters fought hard, but eventually the Senshi prevailed and Berchue found herself 'healed' by Sailor Moon.  The healing though wouldn't last long though and soon she went into hiding, realizing it wasn't so much dark energy infecting her mind that had made her join the DMC, but more of loyalty to her sisters.

So Berchue took to travelling about the United States and the world to see what it was like and forget about the past.  Then years after the Great Freeze she heard word that Prisma, her eldest sister had reappeared in Crystal Tokyo and Berchue developed the identity of Britney Walters and travelled to Japan as a foreign exchange student, searching for the evidence of her sister's return.

Berchue stood speachless before Prince Diamond, "But, Sire, is this really necessary."

The Prince of Nemesis brushed a single strand of white hair from his eye and glared at the young woman before him, "You have your orders."

Berchue nodded solemly as she fade from view, reappearing on a nearby rooftop, overlooking Tokyo General Hospital.  She watched as people entered and exited the massive building and glanced to her feet, *There's people in there.  Children.  All Diamond cares about though is using them to lure the Senshi into a trap.*

She glanced at the pair of droids she had been given and watched as a mother walked to her car with her child, *Why?  Why do we have to use innocents in a war focused merely against the Royal Family.  Why can't we just attack them outright and get it over with, why all the cloak and dagger?*

Silently she closed her eyes and motioned to the droids, hearing the first screams as their attack began.
